Method
Whether the client is a builder or private client with their own project, Atex Steel draws upon their wealth of experience to oversee the steel fabrication process with impresive results. Every stage is documented. . The shop and erection drawings are done in house by our qualified draftpersons. The drafting and design departament uses high precision drafting software (Autocad) and they build the model in 3D using a add on software for Autocad - TSD. All the components are fitted in 3D model up to the smallest detail and then shop and erection drawings are created.
Materials are then ordered cut to size from their steel supliers before delivery into Atex Steel's receiving warehouse.
After the smaller components are created by the boilermakers, they are tack-welded to the larger components. This assembly is checked for accuracy and precision according to the workshop drawings, and it's fully welded toghether according to engineer's specifications.
The assembly is either painted at the Atex Steel factory or they may co-ordinate sandblasting or galvanising to spec. Atex then engages transport and rigging companies to erect the project. Multiple suppliers, profesionals and trades are expertly managed using fine timing, great negotiation skills and clear instructions every step of the way.
